Bodega

Bodega is a sneaker and apparel retailer founded in Boston in 2006 by Jay Gordon, Oliver Mak and Dan Natola, originally hidden behind a working convenience-store facade entered through a fake Snapple cooler door. It sells an in-house BDGA apparel line — graphic tees, fleece, hats, workwear-leaning outerwear — alongside imported labels, and has a long collaboration record with Nike, New Balance, Puma, Saucony and Reebok. Economic pressure and a sneaker-market slowdown closed the original Clearway Street store in early 2025; the downtown Los Angeles shop reopened that April after nearly shutting, with Gordon signaling a possible Boston return.
