ALAÏA
ALAÏA is a Paris house founded by Tunisian-born couturier Azzedine Alaïa, built on body-conscious stretch knits, laser-cut and perforated leather, corsetry and sculpted tailoring, alongside accessories such as the Mary Jane flat and Le Coeur bag. Richemont holds a majority stake and the house remains headquartered on Rue de la Verrerie, where it also runs the Fondation Azzedine Alaïa. Pieter Mulier served as creative director from 2021 and announced his departure on 30 January, presenting a final collection during Paris Fashion Week in March.
