Bia Boro

Bia Boro is a British Columbia boutique chain and in-house label owned by Bahram Djam. It began in 2004 as a single Nelson shop importing clothing and accessories from Brazil, Argentina, Turkey, Italy and Spain, and now runs stores in Nelson, Kelowna and Vancouver's Gastown. In 2009 it added Bia Boro Apparel, a bamboo-fibre line that started with underwear and expanded into wider menswear and womenswear. Recent collections push bamboo basics marketed for moisture-wicking and UV protection, alongside stocked labels such as Champlain.
