Blumarine is an Italian womenswear house founded in 1977 in Carpi by Anna Molinari and Gianpaolo Tarabini, built on hyper-feminine codes: rose prints, fur-trimmed cardigans, corseted mini dresses, low-rise tailoring and crystal embellishment. Nicola Brognano's Y2K revival made it a Gen Z reference, followed briefly by Walter Chiapponi; David Koma took over as creative director in July 2024, debuting with pre-fall 2025 and adding sharper, body-conscious tailoring. Parent company Blufin, controlled by Marco Marchi's Exelite group since 2019, is winding down production, with Exelite running the brand under a master licence.
