Braun's watch and clock line extends the functionalist design language Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs developed at the German appliance maker, whose timekeeping products began with digital alarm clocks in 1971. Its first analogue wristwatch, the AW 10, arrived in 1989 and remains the core reference alongside the AW 50, BN chronographs and reissued travel and desk clocks. Signature traits: high-contrast dials, Helvetica numerals, a single yellow or red second hand, and slim steel or resin cases. Braun is owned by Procter & Gamble; UK-based Zeon Ltd has held the exclusive worldwide watch and clock licence since 2010.
