CFCL

CFCL (Clothing For Contemporary Life) is a Tokyo label from Yusuke Takahashi, who spent roughly a decade at Issey Miyake and directed Issey Miyake Men before incorporating CFCL in February 2020 and launching the first collection in February 2021. Nearly every garment uses computer-programmed 3D knitting in certified and recycled polyester yarns: fluted, pottery-inspired dresses, ribbed knit separates and knit tailoring designed to be washed at home. Takahashi shows on the Paris Fashion Week calendar and frames sustainability reporting as central to the company.
