Clare V. is a Los Angeles leather goods label founded by Clare Vivier, a former French-television journalist who began by making laptop cases and built a line blending Parisian polish with California ease. Signature pieces include the foldover clutch, Simple Tote and Le Zip Sac, usually in bright colors, animal prints and slogan patches, alongside wallets, jewelry, sunglasses, hats and clothing. The brand operates more than a dozen US stores, is backed by minority investors Bedrock Manufacturing and Steven Alan, and has collaborated with Monoprix, Anthropologie and Caddis Eyewear.
