Cleobella

Cleobella is a California lifestyle label founded by husband-and-wife team Angela and Jim O'Brien after a year-long backpacking trip through Bali and India. It makes bohemian dresses, linen separates, swimwear, hand-tooled leather bags and jewelry, produced by artisan partners in Bali and India using batik, embroidery, block printing and hand-beading. The company remains founder-owned and independent, with headquarters in Huntington Beach, a flagship store in Sunset Beach and a direct-to-consumer site alongside wholesale, and centers its marketing on artisan wages and ethical production.
