CÔTE&CIEL

CÔTE&CIEL is a Paris-based bag label founded in 2008 and headquartered in the Marais. It builds backpacks, slings and laptop cases around asymmetric, sculptural silhouettes with folded panels, diagonal zips and padded device compartments, with the Isar and Nile rucksacks as its recognised shapes. Fabrics run to coated and wet-look nylons, ballistic weaves and recycled PET, sold through its own site and design-led stockists. The brand grew from an Apple-commissioned project and has worked with designers including Damir Doma.
