Dehen 1920

Dehen 1920 is a family-owned Portland heritage label founded by William Peter Dehen, still knitting and sewing its garments in Oregon. The company began with varsity and collegiate sweaters for student athletes, added riding sweaters for local motorcycle clubs in the 1930s, and hand-built letterman jackets from the 1950s. Today it reworks that archive into heavyweight worsted-wool knits, shawl sweater coats, waxed canvas and leather jackets, and N-1 deck jackets produced on vintage knitting machines. Knitwear runs roughly $425-525 and outerwear reaches about $1,295, sold through heritage stockists including Division Road and Iron Shop Provisions.
