Depop

Depop is a mobile-first, consumer-to-consumer fashion marketplace where users sell secondhand, vintage and reworked clothing, footwear and accessories through social, shop-style profiles. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in London, it skews heavily Gen Z, with Y2K, grunge, sportswear and archive designer resale dominating listings. Etsy bought Depop in 2021 for $1.62 billion, then agreed in February 2026 to sell it to eBay for roughly $1.2 billion in cash; Depop reported about $1 billion in gross merchandise sales in 2025 and retains its name, brand and platform.
