Eckhaus Latta

Eckhaus Latta is a New York- and Los Angeles-based label founded in 2011 by Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta, who met at Rhode Island School of Design. Collections center on hand-manipulated textiles: open-gauge and distressed knitwear, painted or over-dyed denim, printed jersey and sheer layering, cut in gender-neutral, deliberately unresolved silhouettes. The pair cast friends and artists in their shows and extend the practice into video and installation, including the 2018 Whitney Museum exhibition "Possessed." The brand runs its own stores in Los Angeles and New York.
