VITELLI

Vitelli is a Milan knitwear label founded in 2016 by Mauro Simionato, who leads a collective of Italian artisans alongside co-founder Giulia Bortoli. Its proprietary Doomboh textile is a needle-punched, lightly felted knit made from reclaimed and deadstock yarns, producing marbled, one-off surfaces; the brand reports reaching near-total upcycling from 2019. Output spans distressed sweaters, scarf vests, jumpsuits and trousers cut genderless, with references to Italian nightlife and counterculture.
