GCDS is a Milan-based label founded in 2015 by Neapolitan brothers Giuliano Calza, creative director, and Giordano Calza, CEO, who began with 100 logo sweatshirts sold online. It shows ready-to-wear at Milan Fashion Week and builds collections around logo knitwear, crystal-embellished slip dresses, micro-minis, mesh and monogrammed bags, with production in Italy. Licensing and pop-culture tie-ins are central, including Marcolin eyewear and a 2025 Polly Pocket capsule with Mattel Creations. Private equity Made in Italy Fund, managed by Quadrivio and Pambianco, has held a majority stake since 2020; the Calzas retain a minority holding.
