Illegal Civilization

Illegal Civilization, or Illegal Civ, is a skate company and film studio started by Mikey Alfred in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. It sells graphic tees, hoodies, sweats, caps and skate decks, usually built around its cursive script logo and saturated color blocking at accessible price points. The crew grew up alongside Odd Future and filmed documentaries on Tyler, the Creator's Wolf and Cherry Bomb; Alfred co-produced Jonah Hill's Mid90s and directed the 2021 skate feature North Hollywood. Past collaborations include a 2019 Doritos capsule. It remains independently owned by Alfred.
