Label Under Construction

Label Under Construction (L.U.C.) is an Italian knitwear house founded in 2003 in Perugia by Luca Laurini, who designed at Carpe Diem from 2000 to 2003, with his sister Francesca Ragni. Production draws on their father Adriano's long-running knitwear factory. Collections centre on reversible knits, hand-linked seams, slim architectural silhouettes and deliberately "simulated flaws" that echo the brand name. Wool, cashmere and silk pieces are over-dyed, lasered, printed or needle-punched. Stocked by avant-garde retailers including Darklands Berlin and Lazzari.
