Le Tigre is an American sportswear label founded in New York in 1977 as a lower-priced alternative to Lacoste, substituting a leaping tiger for the crocodile. The range centers on knit polos, T-shirts, fleece, tracksuits and outerwear in bold, color-blocked preppy styling, distributed largely through mass and mid-tier retail.
