Lucky Brand

Lucky Brand is an American denim label founded in 1990 in Vernon, California by Gene Montesano and Barry Perlman. Its range centers on vintage-washed five-pocket jeans for men and women, plus western shirting, graphic tees, embroidery-heavy boho-leaning tops, knitwear and outerwear, sold through its own stores, luckybrand.com and department stores including Macy's. Authentic Brands Group has owned the trademarks since buying the company out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2020; the operating business now sits within Catalyst Brands, formed in January 2025 by the SPARC Group–JCPenney merger.
