Mads Norgaard

Mads Nørgaard – Copenhagen is a Danish fashion house founded in 1986 by Mads Nørgaard, a third-generation retailer whose family has run Nørgaard paa Strøget on Amagertorv since the late 1950s. The label grew out of that shop's striped #101 T-shirt from 1967 and now covers womenswear, menswear and kidswear built around sailor knits, workwear and stripes, with knitwear made in Denmark. It runs stores in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Berlin and collaborates with Danish artists and labels including Phanta.
