Maison Labiche

Maison Labiche is a Parisian label built on chain-stitch embroidery, applied in a handwriting-style script to cotton T-shirts, sweatshirts, shirts, knitwear and childrenswear. Co-founder Marie Welte took the idea from her father's name-embroidered 1950s boarding-school shirts, and the name from her mother's nickname. Short words and phrases sit at the chest, with personalisation offered in store and online. The brand runs Paris boutiques and sells through several hundred wholesale accounts including Liberty, Harrods and Mr Porter, plus capsule projects with partners such as Grey Goose.
