Maison Kitsuné is a Franco-Japanese label founded in Paris in 2002 by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, operating as The Kitsuné Company S.A.S with Loaëc as CEO. It sells fox-patch tees, sweatshirts, polos, knitwear and outerwear alongside the Kitsuné Musique record label and Café Kitsuné coffee shops. Japanese group Stripe International has held a minority stake since 2016. In August 2025 the brand closed its US stores to prioritise e-commerce and wholesale, and in September 2025 named Abigail Smith creative director amid a wider reinvention.
