What to know about MARKAWARE

Sourcing starts at the farm

Designer Shunsuke Ishikawa visits farms and mills in Peru, Argentina, Turkey and Uruguay to source traceable organic cotton, wool, alpaca and hemp for each collection.

Proprietary cloth, made in Japan

Fabrics like Organic Wool Survival Cloth are developed with Japanese spinners, and garments are cut and sewn domestically rather than sourced from mills off the shelf.

Restrained tailoring meets relaxed workwear

The clothes sit between soft suiting and loose utility shapes, with shirts around $275-450 — priced for the materials and construction rather than visible branding.
