Minimum

Minimum is an independent Danish label founded in 1997 by Peder Tang, who opened a single retail store in central Aarhus before launching his own collections. The first menswear range arrived in 1999, followed by womenswear in 2007. The label builds pared-back Scandinavian wardrobe staples — shirting, knitwear, chinos, jersey and light outerwear in muted, minimalist palettes — sold direct and through wholesale accounts across Europe. An Essentials line emphasises lower-impact materials. Tang also took over Aarhus menswear label Junk de Luxe in December 2012.
