What to know about NOMARHYTHM TEXTILE

Every print is drawn by hand

Co-founder Masako Noguchi, a Chelsea College of Arts graduate, hand-draws the prints, and the clothes run through hand-dyeing, embroidery and ikat weaving.

It used to be NOMA t.d.

The label was renamed NOMARHYTHM TEXTILE in January 2025 for its 20th anniversary, so older stock, resale and press still sit under the NOMA t.d. name.

Workwear shapes, craft-level prices

Coveralls, work vests, shirting, hand-knit sweaters and Japanese denim trousers carry the high price tier because of the hand processes rather than tailoring.

NOMARHYTHM TEXTILE is a Tokyo label founded in 2005 by Masako Noguchi and Takuma Sasaki, renamed from NOMA t.d. in January 2025 for its 20th anniversary. Noguchi, a Chelsea College of Arts graduate, draws every print by hand; Sasaki, a former select-shop buyer, shapes merchandising. Collections apply hand-dyeing, embroidery, ikat weaving and Japanese denim to shirting, coveralls, work vests, hand-knit sweaters and relaxed trousers, alongside interiors and publishing projects. The independent brand sells via END., Beams and Up There, and collaborates with Needles, WILDSIDE Yohji Yamamoto and Nike.
