Okej is a Swedish-American design studio founded in 2020 by Emmie Brower, a Swedish designer, and Mitchell Brower, an American engineer. The studio operates from Utah and produces its collection in Sweden. Its core output is hand-tufted wool rugs in curvy, vintage-leaning silhouettes — the Squiggle rug, speckled and two-tone colourways, blob and wave outlines — alongside smaller homeware. The aesthetic pairs Scandinavian restraint with 1960s and 1970s forms and saturated colour. Distribution runs through fashion retailers including SSENSE and One Block Down.
