Samsonite
Samsonite is a luggage maker founded in 1910 by Jesse Shwayder in Denver, Colorado, now incorporated in Luxembourg and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (SEHK: 1910). It sells hardside and softside spinner suitcases, cabin bags, business backpacks, briefcases and travel accessories through its own retail stores, wholesale partners and e-commerce. The group also owns American Tourister, Tumi, Hartmann and eBags, and competes on lightweight shell construction, recycled-material components and long warranties. Kyle Gendreau is chief executive; Timothy Parker chairs the board.
