SC103

SC103 is a New York label run by Sophie Andes-Gascon and Claire McKinney, who met at Pratt Institute and previously worked at Ulla Johnson and MNZ before going full-time on the line. The pair are known for hand-worked leather — braided, laced and knotted bags, harness-like straps and sculptural accessories — alongside textural knitwear, crochet and draped separates. Collections are produced in small runs and shown at self-organised presentations in galleries and community spaces, with invitations, models and photographers drawn from the designers' own circle. McKinney also teaches part-time at Pratt.
