What to know about Soshiotsuki
Soshiotsuki is the Tokyo menswear label founded in 2015 by Soshi Otsuki, a Bunka Fashion College and Coconogacco graduate born in Chiba in 1990. It builds a Japanese reading of dandyism from tailoring technique, drawing on classical performing arts and, more recently, the draped, oversized suiting of Japan's late-1980s Bubble Era. Core output is suiting, outerwear and shirting in refined fabrics. Otsuki was shortlisted for the LVMH Prize in 2016, took the 2019 Tokyo New Designer Award, and won the 2025 LVMH Prize in September 2025. The brand runs its own online store alongside select stockists.
