Stan Ray

Stan Ray makes utilitarian workwear out of Crockett, Texas, where Earl Beard founded the family firm Earl's Apparel in 1972 and began sewing painter pants for the Brooklyn Overall Company. The brand, named after Beard's son Stanley, remains privately run by the family alongside sister label Gung Ho. Its core is the painter pant, offered in the OG cut plus the slimmer 80s and wider Big Job fits, with four-pocket fatigues, cotton sateen shop jackets, coveralls and overshirts sold through stockists in the US, Europe and Japan.
