Sunnei
Sunnei is a Milan label founded in 2014 by Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo, known for broad stripes, saturated colour, boxy tailoring, chunky knitwear and rubber-soled shoes made with small Italian factories. Womenswear followed in 2018, alongside deliberately absurd presentations including audience-judged contests and a mock model auction. Vanguards Group, the fund behind Nanushka, took a majority stake in 2020. The founders exited in September 2025 and were named Moschino creative directors in June 2026. Sunnei srl entered liquidation under a May 2026 court ruling, with a liabilities hearing set for September 2026.
