Tripp NYC

Tripp NYC is an alternative streetwear label founded by designer Daang Goodman in New York's East Village in the early 1980s. It is best known for bondage pants hung with straps, D-rings and chains, plus plaid, PVC and studded jackets, corsets, bustiers and skinny jeans in loud prints. The line draws on punk, goth, emo and rave subcultures and remains a fixture of mall-alternative retail. Recent work includes a co-branded capsule with ravewear retailer iHeartRaves. Most pieces sell in the $50-$150 range.
