Y/Project was a Paris label founded in 2010 by designer Yohan Serfaty and businessman Gilles Elalouf. After Serfaty's death, Belgian designer Glenn Martens became creative director in 2013 and built the house's signature language: twisted and doubled denim, ruched and convertible tailoring, layered trompe-l'oeil constructions and gender-fluid silhouettes, plus long-running collaborations with Jean Paul Gaultier, Diesel, UGG and Canada Goose. Elalouf died in 2024, Martens exited that September, and the brand entered receivership before announcing closure in January 2025 after no buyer emerged.
