<p>All seven shops sit within a short drive of each other, and most cluster around Waikiki or downtown, so the useful way to split them is by what you actually want to leave with.</p> <h2>Hawaii-made vs. imported labels</h2> <p><strong>FITTED Hawaii</strong> (2004) and <strong>IN4MATION</strong> (2002) are the two house brands worth flying in for. FITTED builds around New Era 59FIFTY fitteds and snapbacks, with kapa and tapa patterning, native flora and Hawaiian Kingdom references across tees, hoodies and shorts; product lands as limited drops, so timing matters. IN4MATION works the skate, surf and local-pride angle — place names, pidgin phrasing, graphic tees, caps and fleece — and also runs <strong>Slashers</strong> at the Dole Cannery Shops, a 2021 concept shop pairing its own line with A Bathing Ape and Undefeated. Neither does seasonal cut-and-sew; both stay in the low-to-mid price tier, making them the best value on this list.</p> <p>For imported names, <strong>Kith Hawaii</strong> and <strong>Stüssy Honolulu</strong> are both inside Royal Hawaiian Center on Kalakaua Avenue, essentially next door to each other. Kith's two-floor flagship (opened August 2021, still independently owned by Ronnie Fieg) carries in-house men's, women's and kids' apparel plus curated Nike, adidas, New Balance and Asics, and a Kith Treats cereal bar. Stüssy's Chapter store (April 2018) runs Basic Stock and 8-Ball tees, fleece, coach and work jackets, caps and bucket hats, plus Honolulu-exclusive capsules using Hoffman Fabrics shirting — the closest thing here to an island souvenir from a global brand. Kith sits medium-high, Stüssy medium.</p> <h2>Resale and skate</h2> <p><strong>Original Grail</strong> is the bigger resale operation, with stores in Royal Hawaiian Center and at Pearlridge Center in Aiea, buying, selling and consigning Jordan, Kobe, Yeezy and adidas alongside Supreme, Denim Tears, Anti Social Social Club, Fear of God Essentials and Off-White. <strong>Truest</strong> on South King Street in Moʻiliʻili is the smaller, more specialist alternative — older Air Jordan pairs, hands-on legit-checking, its own island-lifestyle apparel and a past capsule with Hawaii label AVVA. It's closed Sundays.</p> <p><strong>APB Skateshop</strong> at 185 N King Street, beside A'ala Skate Park, is the functional pick: decks, griptape and hardgoods from Fucking Awesome, Hockey, Polar, Quasi, GX1000, Baker, Anti Hero and Krooked, footwear from Nike SB, adidas, Vans and Lakai, plus its own Hawaii-graphic tees and trucker hats. Skater-owned since 2002 and the one shop here where staff will set up a beginner's board.</p>
