40s and Shorties

40s & Shorties is a Los Angeles lifestyle and streetwear label founded in 2013 by Drewbyrd, Adem Niazi and Ryan De La Cruz. The trio started by printing their inside jokes on socks, then expanded into graphic T-shirts, hoodies, headwear, accessories and cut-and-sew pieces. Designs draw on hip-hop, Californian nostalgia, current events, adult humor and pop-culture references, usually built around bold wordmark and slogan graphics. The brand sells direct through its own site and stockists, and remains independently run by its founders.
