ATON

ATON is a Tokyo ready-to-wear label founded in 2016 by Yasuharu Kuzaki, its name a play on "A to N," the Japanese equivalent of A to Z. It reworks wardrobe staples — oversized shirting, wide trousers, suvin cotton and cashmere knitwear, jersey tees and pared-back outerwear — in premium cotton, silk, wool and linen, largely made in Japan. Colorways stay muted and rely on traditional dyeing. Kuzaki tests prototypes himself for up to a year before production. Stocked by SSENSE and Andreas Murkudis alongside its own Tokyo stores.
