Desigual
Desigual is a Barcelona label founded by Swiss designer Thomas Meyer, built on maximalist prints, patchwork, embroidery and colour clashing across womenswear, menswear, kids, bags and footwear. Its origin piece is a jacket assembled from second-hand denim scraps. Meyer regained control after French fund Eurazeo exited its minority stake, and CEO Alberto Ojinaga has run a restructuring that returned the company to a small net profit in 2024. A plan to 2029 targets faster product development, AI tools, heavier marketing spend and younger female customers, with digital near 44% of sales.
