Fracap
Fracap is a family-run Italian footwear maker founded in 1908 by Antonio Cappello in Monteroni di Lecce, Puglia, where it originally produced boots for farmers and the military. It still manufactures in its own factory, using waxed and oiled leathers, Goodyear-style construction and Vibram soles. The line centres on alpine-influenced hiking silhouettes, notably the M120 boot and the M128 commando-sole scarponcino, sold through specialists such as END. Ownership remains with the founding family, with no reported sale or restructuring.
