Hamilton

Hamilton is a watchmaker founded in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and part of Switzerland's Swatch Group since 1974, with production now Swiss-based. It built its reputation on railroad-accuracy pocket watches and mid-century military issue, and today centres on the Khaki Field, Khaki Aviation, Jazzmaster and American Classic collections plus the asymmetric Ventura, first released in 1957. Most references run ETA-derived H-series automatic movements with roughly 80-hour power reserves. Hamilton maintains a long film-prop practice, including Interstellar, and opened a Lancaster boutique in 2024.
