Jean Paul Gaultier stepped back from designing in 2020, after which couture ran on rotating guest designers, among them Julien Dossena in 2023; the house named Dutch designer Duran Lantink creative director in March 2025. Spanish group Puig has held a majority stake since 2011 and took over the fragrance license, including Le Male, in 2024. Recent collaborations include Jimmy Choo and KNWLS.
