Lack of Guidance
Lack of Guidance is an Amsterdam label founded in 2016 by Akaar Amin and Rens van Strien, built on 1990s football nostalgia translated into contemporary sportswear. Its range runs to knitted jumpers, track and warm-up jackets, retro scarves, polos and graphic tees in muted tones with restrained club-style branding. The brand opened its first permanent Amsterdam store in 2021 and has worked with British football maker Mitre, ASICS on a sneaker referencing Japan's 1998 goalkeeper kit, and New Balance on the "Around the World" collection.
