Lauren Manoogian

Lauren Manoogian is an American designer label founded in 2010 by its namesake designer, launched with a pair of sweaters and built around hand-knitted and hand-loomed natural-fiber pieces produced by artisan workshops in Peru. Collections center on baby alpaca, suri alpaca, merino wool, and pima cotton knitwear, plus outerwear, wide-leg trousers, and leather and woven bags in muted, undyed and low-impact-dyed palettes. Silhouettes are oversized and unstructured, with rolled or rib-knit edges and dropped shoulders. The independently run brand shows in Paris and sells through SSENSE and international boutiques, including SSENSE-exclusive styles.
