Lurking Class is an independent Southern California label built around the pen-and-ink artwork of the artist known as Sketchy Tank, who grew a blog of crude, NSFW imagery and his own illustrations into a clothing line. The catalogue centres on graphic tees, hoodies, jackets, beanies, socks and skate decks carrying stippled skulls, demons, ugly-tattoo humour and blunt social commentary. The brand runs recurring artist collaborations, including one with metal illustrator Daniel Shaw (Sawblade), sells direct online and stocks through skate retailers such as Zumiez and Blue Tomato.
