MADNESS is a Hong Kong streetwear label founded in June 2014 by actor, singer and former model Shawn Yue, who also runs the earlier collaboration imprint COMMON SENSE. Its output leans on military and workwear references: field and coach jackets, cargo pants, caps and logo tees in muted, utilitarian palettes. The brand built its following through collaborations with NEIGHBORHOOD, Carhartt WIP, HUF and retaW, selling via Hong Kong retail and its own web store. Its Beijing Sanlitun flagship closed in 2023, and the label has faced repeated design-plagiarism accusations.
