MASTER-PIECE

Master-piece is a Japanese bag label founded in Osaka in 1994 by Taichi Fujimatsu, built on a "Made in Japan" production model. In 2008 it opened its own manufacturing hub, Base Osaka, where much of the line is cut, sewn and finished in-house. The range centres on backpacks, shoulder bags, waist packs and luggage in coated high-density nylon and Cordura, with reinforced stitching, clean boxy silhouettes and heavy-duty hardware. Menswear-leaning but unisex, it sells through Japanese flagships and international retailers including END. and SSENSE.
