No Sesso

No Sesso is a Los Angeles label founded in 2015 by Pia Davis, previously credited as Pierre Davis, who runs it with Autumn Randolph. The name is Italian for "no gender." Collections combine hand-stitched embroidery, patchwork knitwear, reworked denim and jersey, cut without gender categories and drawing on Black hairstyling and LA subculture. Davis was the first openly trans woman to show on the official New York Fashion Week calendar, in February 2019. Recent projects include a cut-and-sew Levi's collaboration and a debut handbag, the Carry Bag.
