Quartz Co. builds premium down outerwear for cold climates, founded in Quebec in 1997 by outerwear veteran Yves Trudeau as Quartz Nature and originally supplying expedition teams, airline crews and police. Brothers Jean-Philippe, Francois-Xavier and Guillaume Robert took over in 2015 and run it today. The line centres on lightweight Canadian down parkas and technical winter coats in minimal, seasonless silhouettes, sewn in Quebec and sold in more than twenty countries. A Mile-End flagship, design studio and pop-ups anchor direct retail; past projects include a collaboration with designer Marie-Eve Lecavalier.
