RRL, or Double RL, is Ralph Lauren's vintage-inspired Americana label, named after the Colorado ranch Ralph and Ricky Lauren bought in the late 1980s. It evolved from the earlier Polo Country line and became a standalone label under Polo Ralph Lauren in 1993. Collections focus on selvedge and distressed denim, chore and military jackets, plaid flannels, Western shirts, leather boots and blanket-pattern knits, reproducing early-20th-century workwear details. It sits above Polo on price and operates dedicated stores in cities including New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Ralph Lauren Corporation remains publicly listed and founder-controlled.
