SAGE DE CRET is a Japanese menswear label founded in 2001 by designer Kimitoshi Chida, its name fusing the French words for sensible and decree. The brand reworks military, workwear and traditional menswear references into relaxed daily clothing, with weaving, dyeing and sewing carried out in Japan. Signatures include reinterpreted M-65 jackets, cargo trousers and washed, over-dyed or oil-cut fabrics in muted tones. It made its international debut in 2013, launched its first official online store in August 2023, and stocks select retailers worldwide.
