Sultry Virgin

Sultry Virgin is a Shanghai-based womenswear label founded in 2020 by stylists Edge Yang and Qiuge Wang. Collections mine early-2000s references: low-waist mini skirts, shrunken knit cardigans, cut-out and keyhole blouses, shimmering button-ups, pastel faux-fur jackets and doll-scaled handbags. The founders position the hyper-feminine, body-conscious cuts as dressing for the wearer rather than the male gaze. The brand shows during Shanghai Fashion Week, where its Y2K styling drew early attention, and distributes internationally through SSENSE, which currently lists its Spring/Summer 2026 collection.
