Triple Aught Design makes technical apparel and everyday-carry gear drawn from military and mountaineering design. Founded in San Francisco in 1997 by Patrick Ma, who later separated from the company, it is known for softshell layers such as the Ranger and Stealth hoodies, Force 10 stretch pants, Fast Pack backpacks, knives and flashlights, much of it produced in the United States. Assets of Triple Aught Design LLC were sold to Banana Stand Acquisition LLC in a secured-party sale on 28 June 2023. Palettes stay muted, with abrasion-resistant fabrics and modular pockets.
